参议院第114号法案

参议院第114号法案 (SB 114) provides a bank of COVID 19 supplemental paid sick leave (SPSL) that has ended as of December 31, 2022.  Cal/OSHA's Emergency Temporary Standards provides 排除支付.

Supplemental Paid Sick Leave (SPSL)--Expired

SPSL expired on December 31, 2022.  The Google form SPSL Request Form below will remain open through January 31, 2022, for those employees who were out due to COVID-related reasons prior to December 31, 2022.

SPSL reimburses the use of personal balances for COVID-related absences. Up to 40 hours may be used for quarantine or other specified reasons. An additional 40 hours may be granted for a positive case for yourself or a family member. The total maximum amount of SPSL shall not exceed 80 hours.  For additional information about this leave, please review the FAQ letter above.

Supplemental Paid Sick Leave (SPSL)

SPSL provides a new bank of COVID 19 supplemental sick leave.  It is retroactive to January 1, 2022 and will expire on December 31, 2022.  It reimburses the use of personal balances for COVID-related absences.  Up to 40 hours may be used for quarantine or other specified reasons.  An additional 40 hours may be granted for a positive case for yourself or a family member.  The total maximum amount of SPSL shall not exceed 80 hours.

排除支付

Cal/OHSA’s Emergency Temporary Standards provides 排除支付 for an employee who was/ is directed by the district to quarantine at home due to a possible COVID 19 work exposure.  It is retroactive to October 1, 2021 through January 30, 2023.  It reimburses the use of personal balances for an employee who was directed by the district to quarantine.  Up to 80 hours may be used for quarantine and an additional 40 hours may be granted for a positive diagnosis.  The total maximum amount of 排除支付 shall not exceed 120 hours per occurrence.

COVID-19 Vaccination Status

Pursuant to the California Department of Public Health Guidance for Vaccine Records Guidelines & Standards, only the following modes may be used as proof of vaccination:

  1. COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card (issued by the Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Disease Control & Prevention or WHO Yellow Card) which includes name of person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided and date last dose administered); OR
  2. a photo of a Vaccination Record Card as a separate document; OR
  3. a photo of the client's Vaccination Record Card stored on a phone or electronic device; OR
  4. documentation of COVID-19 vaccination from a health care provider; OR
  5. digital record that includes a QR code that when scanned by a SMART Health Card reader displays to the reader client name, 出生日期, vaccine dates and vaccine type; OR
  6. documentation of vaccination from other contracted employers who follow these vaccination records guidelines and standards.
